Bradley Scharfe, BA
CEO and Director
Mr. Scharfe has been focused on venture capital situations throughout his career and has successfully worked with multiple companies in the areas of capital requirements, public market concerns and personnel. Mr. Scharfe was previously a venture capital stock broker with Canaccord Capital Corporation for 12 years, earning Chairman's Club status during this time and holds a BA from the University of Toronto, with a major in Commerce and Economics. Mr. Scharfe is a founder and partner of Skanderbeg Capital Partners Inc.
Bryan Slusarchuk
Director
Mr. Slusarchuk has significant experience financing and operating companies involved in a wide range of sectors. Mr. Slusarchuk, prior to establishing a track record as a successful private and public company CEO, was a Senior Investment Advisor at a premier Canadian investment dealer. Mr. Slusarchuk has experience on the board of several private and public Canadian companies, has extensive corporate governance expertise and has raised and managed capital for multiple companies including companies involved in consumer goods, retail, media and manufacturing. He has an extensive European and North American financial network and has worked within it to finance and structure multiple North American and European ventures. Additionally, Mr. Slusarchuk has become recognized as a thought leader in the booming green economy. He has been a featured speaker at such events as the 2010 Carbon War Room Global Challenge launch that coincided with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, TEDx Vancouver 2009 Conference, and Business Television’s Business of Green. Mr. Slusarchuk is a founder and CEO of Skanderbeg Capital Group, a company focused on deploying venture capital to fast-growing venture situations.
Christopher Ian Bennett
Director
With 15 years of political and public policy communications experience, Mr. Bennett is the former Leader of the Green Party of British Columbia. The youngest person to ever lead the party, Christopher helped build public support to almost 20 per cent from five per cent during his interim term. In 2007 he was elected to the Green Party of Canada’s Federal Council where he completed a one-year term and acted as a senior communications strategist to the executive committee. Mr. Bennett brings more than 10 years of public relations and media communications experience to the group. He has expertise in corporate communications, issues management, crisis communications, investor relations and media training to clients across the board. An experienced strategist, Mr. Bennett has worked with CEOs, politicians and senior government officials both provincially and nationally. In 2006, Christopher was the only Canadian named to PR News’ ‘Top 30 under 30 to Watch’ list. He has been profiled in BC Business Magazine, PR Week and the National Post. Christopher was also the keynote speaker at the IABC’s National ‘NEXT Communications’ conference.
Robert Geisthardt, CA
CFO and Director
Mr. Geisthardt is a Chartered Accountant who is an incorporated partner of Quantum Advisory Partners LLP, a professional services firm that provides accounting, tax, internal audit and consulting services to private and public companies in Canada and the United States. Prior to his involvement with Quantum Advisory Partners LLP, he was employed by Ernst & Young LLP.
John LaGourgue

Mr. LaGourgue has a broad range of business experience in multiple competitive industries, both public and private. From 2009 until 2011, he served as President for Volcanic Metals and continues to serve on the board. From 2003 until 2009, he provided consulting services to oil and gas service companies while living in Calgary, Alberta. His role included sales, financing options, purchasing, logistics, operational and technical solutions for tubular products to clients across Canada. Prior to consulting in the oil and gas arena, his Fortune 100 experience includes EMC Corporation, where he was a National Sales Manager with a comprehensive team that supported AOL Time Warner's $50 million annual data storage, software, and professional services needs. He graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with Honors.
Rick Baxter
Director
Mr. Rick Baxter is the former President and CEO of BC based West Coast Air and has been in a senior management capacity for commercial operations since the early 1990's. Mr. Baxter currently serves on the Canadian Advisory Board for Marsh & McLennan Companies, was a member of Tourism Vancouver's Board for 12 years, and the Chairman in 2010 when Vancouver hosted the Olympic Winter Games. He previously served as a Director of Ecotrust Canada and Climate Smart. Born and raised in Vancouver, Mr. Baxter has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 under 40, a national program designed to promote mentorship and professional development. He holds an Economics degree from the University of BC, and has completed the Executive Leadership Course at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
